I was told by my consultant last Thursday that I have what he thinks is stage 4 Melanoma. I have been told that there are Metastasis in my chest and stomach, and in his words, this is "a life ending diagnosis". Since then I have had 2 samples taken for biopsies and am due a CT scan on my brain in 2 days. My consultant has mentioned immunotherapy to prolong life, but from what I'm reading online I'm worried that because of the spread this may not be possible. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience in this area which may be useful to me please?
