I am so sorry your GP told you it's not good news and you need to be seen urgently for confirmation of diagnosis. I can imagine it all feels rather vague at the moment and you must understandably be desperate for definite answers. I hope that you will hear from other ladies here who have had similar issues and that they will share their experiences with you. 

At the moment, even though the GP said it is not good news, you haven't quite got all the information or a full diagnosis so hopefully seeing a specialist will give you more clarity. I hope that you get a diagnosis soon as feeling in the dark can be a bit frightening. Once you know exactly what you are dealing with, you will be able to understand better what treatment awaits you and the different steps involved. 

As there's nothing like hearing from personal experiences, I will now let other members of our community who have been through something similar come and say hello and share their story with you. 

I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be reassuring news and that the treatment will be a success and will deal with these issues once and for all.
