A very warm welcome to our forum. Unfortunately, nobody can predict whether or not this is something to worry about. Lymph nodes do swell with even a mild infection and usually subside again in time. They can sometimes remain swollen and still be benign. I am gad to see that you are going to have some blood tests carried out and I am sure that your GP will take this further if necessary.

It would be unusual for someone of your age to have cancer, but  sadly, not impossible. While you are waiting for a diagnosis, steer clear of the internet. You will only end up scaring yourself even more. I sincerely hope that all turns out well.
