Positive fit test.19. Colonoscopy due in 3 - 4 weeks time

Just had my appt with colorectal doc Was soooooo feeling sick and nervous. Gotta  colonoscopy in 3 to 4 weeks just to check things out.Stomach palpation normal and back passage exam good and bloods good.

Doc was lovely but I'm worried colonoscopy s not for another 3-4weeks!!! Mind still working overtime.xx

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some health concerns and that you're now waiting for a colonoscopy appointment. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious. 

    We know that for many people this period of waiting for tests can be difficult. Try to keep busy and remember that there could be any number of reasons for the FIT test result and any symptoms you may have been experiencing.

    Hi ,thanks for answering. 

    I had my colonoscopy on Thursday  endoscopist said no polyps but some slight ulceration along the bowel and slight scarring at ICV. So couldn't check small bowel??? Took some biopsies,said he couldn't see any sign of cancer but  I m still so worried.

    He thinks that its possibly chrohns but gastro need me to have a calprotectn test and CT  scan now to check small bowel!

    I'm totally worried, .came out of there relieved but then got call the next morning x
