hope everyone is well.

I had a smear and was referred to a Colposcopy in which I had the LLETZ with the results showing High Grade CIN3. The lovely nurses did explain to me what this meant in regard to HPV and pre cancerous but the letter I received today has only added to my anxiety.

the letter indicates my case is going to a MTD (multi disciplinary team) and indicates I have a follow up Colposcopy appointment in 3 months, 

is this normal? 

I am a bit worried as to why the MTD is required if it was normal and whilst I understand the need for a follow up after finding CIN3 I was concerned at is relative closeness in time (4/5 months since smear and follow up colposcopy.

I will probably call GP tomorrow as I do get lower back pain and tonight’s (I know I shouldn’t) anxious Googling has indicated lower back as a related symptom to some of the concerns.
