In early July, I found a lump in my underarm and went to GP 2 weeks later. She referred me to Aberdeen and said I'd have appt in 2-3weeks. After 3 weeks and no word I called my GP who advised me that Aberdeen had written back that they weren't overly worried about my lump(having not seen it) and to return to GP on 17th Aug. I returned and seen a different GP who referred me again as I now have a large rash over my breast... Lump has moved and I can't feel it any longer, is it hiding or has it dissipated? Another 3 weeks pass with no word and I call GP for update to be told Aberdeen have said there's a 10 week delay on appts. I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about as Aberdeen obviously not concerned but very aware they haven't seen me, 2 GP's have referred me after seeing me and examining me and stating a suspected cancer... Why do I have to wait so long, by the time I'm seen it'll be about 18 weeks since I felt the lump, is this a normal wait time?
