Missing mum

Just wanted to see if anyone else is feeling the same. I lost my mum to cancer last November I still feel the same nearly a year on I miss her so much especially in the evenings mainly when I have more time to think. Does anyone else have this as well? I have a family myself but I don't want to bring others down especially my daughter she's only 4 and loved my mum.

  • Hi Samuel , I’m so sorry to hear that you lost your dear mum to cancer. I’m afraid that the grief does not go away but you learn to live around it. It is such early days for you, and it’s still very raw and painful. I would suggest giving Maggie’s a ring ( Mon-Fri) , they support anyone affected by cancer. Take things a day at a time x I wish you well x
