So my mum is 62, obviously post menopausal, and has been suffering with vaginal bleeding, bloating, cramping period like pains, feeling full shortly after eating, nauseous, extremely tired, urinary urgency, constipation and not feeling like she’s emptied after going to the loo. She’s also been sweating profusely. GP took bloods last week and we’re yet to have the results. I’m assuming they’ve run CA125, but she hasn’t asked them so I’m not sure. She has an ultrasound today at the gynaecologist at our local hospital. How long until we have the ultrasound results? Is this something they can give whilst there? Will they have access to the blood results and would they give them to us if asked? Has anyone else experienced the above symptoms and it’s turned out to be something my benign? I’m sure it’s nothing serious but obviously am worried. Just don’t know what to expect with timelines and results. Waiting to hear about things like this is so awful.
