Hi There

I've had very bad ibd past 5 yrs only recently got app I hospital with gastroenterology. 

My symptoms are

1.bloating

2.urgency

3.constipation severe

4.bleeding every other week

5.feeling awful after I eat

So got app they did bloods  chest x Ray, then started bleeding again so sent me for flexi sigmoid n found 3 large diverticulitis about 6 to 8 cm in diameter down near my anus then had a ct scan on a mon got phone call to attend for full colonoscopy 6 days later on sun

That was today it was the most painful and torturous thing ever..they gave me fentanyl and midazolam but they said it wore off cos my procedure took 2 hrs.

They said my cecum was so thick that they had to use a babies scope to get through they took 11 biopsies n removed a polyp 

Then banded 5 internal haemorrhoids. So blooming painful I still can't sleep despite being exhausted 

Dr said to me before he even started that I wud probably need surgery

I'm just asking does anyone out there think it's all very like cancer symptoms    ?,I don't want to Google but am so anxious now 

My quality of life is fecked past 2 yrs I always worked full time but can't even do thar anymore  I'm 51 and have to nap every day now

The only thing that was controlling it was daily steroids for a Yr but wen I seen gi man he said stop
