Fit test result of 40 , raised crp and calproctein

Hello

about 4 weeks ago I had five days of mucus and diarrhoea and one afternoon of bad pain !
I did two stool samples and blood test !
I’ve been called 4 weeks later ( although I initially rang and they said it showed irritation ) … to say FIT a has come back as 40 and I have raised crp and calproctein !
I am panicking a lot as they are referring me for colonoscopy and cr scan in the two week referrel !
I have no blood , no pain , stool is normal now , no weightloss !
Any help would be appreciated :(

Have you seen the post on this page “positive FIT rest and results” I don’t think I’ve seen you post on it, you may just be following. A lot of nice people there helping each other. Good luck xx

Hey Lily I had the same score fit test. I would like to share my experience… I had all the tests and last week had my colonoscopy after something showed up on an ultrasound. I was loosing blood and n a lot of pain they found a few growths during my colonoscopy which they removed and also took 6 extra biopsies. I had my results yesterday and they were all clear no cancer just benign growths tha had been irritated. So a positive FIT test doesn’t mean all is lost keep positive xx ️ ️
