I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting on breast biopsy results at the moment. It's understandably a difficult time and natural that you feel nervous about lumps and bumps given your family history. 

Hopefully the appointment on Wednesday will bring some positive news but in the meantime, if you think it may help to chat things through with one of the team of nurses you're welcome to call them. I know they will be happy to offer any advice and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

Hi Jenn, thank you for your response, I called up the hospital secretary to ask if there had been any results back yet and apparently they have the results and I was scheduled to be discussed at the MDT meeting this afternoon but she couldn’t obviously tell me anymore regarding what that meant. I’m now worried that needing to be discussed at the mdt meeting means they have found something that requires some sort of treatment. It is going to be a long few days until my appointment on Wednesday x

Hi obviously I don’t know for sure but I think that this is what they do i think they just make sure that everyone agrees with their findings I don’t think this is a bad result just to make sure that they all agree with decisions for any result. Stay positive as  think this is what happens to all results they have to be discussed so they can be certain. Hope you have a good weekend and try to take your mind off of things which I know first hand is easier said than done

Morning, I have just called the secretaries to see if there was any change to my scheduled telephone call booked for Wednesday following the MDT meeting on Friday and she said at the moment it is all still on for Wednesday morning to I am taking that as a positive that it has not been changed to an in person appointment, here is hoping it stays that way as I cant imagine they would deliver negative results over the phone x

are you referring to the BIRAD rating meaning indeterminate? As I have had an experience with that happy to message x

I know this is an old thread but I'm in a similar position. My mammogram, US and physical exam were all 3s. I had a biopsy which has revealed a fibroadenoma. But I'm still on the list to be discussed at MDT meeting even though biopsy clear. Not really sure why as would have thought the biopsy would have been conclusive?
