FIT test positive 400

So today I actually found out the results of my FIT test screening and it's 400, I found out last Thursday it was positive and that was it, last Friday the hospital phoned me and I have got my phone appointment with a specialist nurse to go through the results and what happens next. Has anyone else had a very high score like this if so what was the outcome? I am really worried

I am so sorry you got a positive FIT test and a high score. I hope that the specialist nurse will contact you soon and that you find out more about what happens next. There is information on our website on the FIT test which I hope you will find helpful.

I hope that other members who have also had a high positive score will be along to share their experiences and outcomes with you. It's normal to be worried but bear in mind that having a positive FIT test doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer as the blood can also be caused by other medical conditions. I am keeping everything crossed for you!

I hope your phone assessment went well. I have just found out my FIT was 400 so now just waiting to hear from the hospital team for an assessment
