So sorry to hear you have joined the club no one wants to be in :( I was in your shoes back in July and the waiting for results and telling family was really really hard. I reached out to the lovely ladies on here who have been really fantastic. 

I was diagnosed with exactly the same as you, oestrogen positive and HER2 negative and had a lumpectomy,  9 sessions of Radiotherapy and now on Tamoxifen. You will breeze through surgery but make sure you give yourself time afterwards to recovery. Best of luck to you and keep us posted with how everything goes xx

I have been taking it for a couple of months and have had no side effects other than the very odd mood swing. I’m 39 and pre menopausal so not sure if that’s made a difference or not. 

I was the same as you, worried about starting it because of all the side effect stories but I’ve been completely fine so far.

I also had to get the contraceptive implant removed so my mood swings could very well be related to that as well haha. 

I think it’s difficult not to be worried as there is many people who don’t have a good experience but the people that have no issues with it don’t always report that either. 

Yeah I’ve been told  to stop with the depo injection now too. That’s true, it’s always mainly the horror stories that everyone reports so it’s good to hear that it’s not always the case .  X
