Hi Paul , first of all a high PSA is not conclusive on its own . It can be raised for other reasons other than cancer. It can be raised due to an infection for example . To get a bigger picture , they will need to take a full history , age etc and examine your prostate. Some gents have an enlarged prostate which is benign ( not cancer) . I really hope that all is ok for you x

Yes I’m sure you’re really anxious , the waiting is awful . I would suggest you ring to say that you would go in at short notice if there are any cancellations x
