I can understand this uncertainty must be difficult - I'm sure there will be others here who have been through something similar, so hopefully you'll get some more replies here soon.

Try to avoid Googling things as it's rarely helpful and the information will often be irrelevant, as well as tending to further increase worries. Equally, it's good to go to the appointment to get some answers. It sounds like you don't have too much longer to wait which is good.

I know the feeling. I don't want to tell anyone so I don't worry them prematurely, but then speaking about would probably help. 

I found a small lump on my left breast. It hard and it doesn't move. The doctor referred me and told me to try and not worry too much. That it could be other things. But part of me keeps thinking that he looked concerned, but it could be my imagination.

I'm still waiting for the appointment, and checking that the lump is still there and I'm not imagining it.

I can understand that as we analyse everything after don’t we and I’m doing same re the lump - mins is high top left of right armpit related to any hair follicles and getting weird tingles and aches. Try and keep yourself busy! I volunteered to dog sit for a friends mum this week which has kept me very busy! I hope you’re appointment goes well and let me know how you get on! Im seeing the consultant Tues's late afternoon  so will Update then xx and definitely don’t Google

I don't have an appointment yet. Still waiting for the magic letter/call. 

Could your be a lymph node? 

I don't have any pain whatsoever, which is the weird thing.

Not sure how to update here! Had my appointment and it’s auxiliary breast tissue - which is in my armpit! I just want to thank everyone who took time to help and reassure me! It really helped when I felt alone worrying xx it meant a lot to me xx
