I went in for an mri, nothing very serious. Just reffered for some ongoing dizzyness assumed to be related to my ears. I got a call back later that day saying they had found a small shadow on my brain and now they want to scan again...but more thoroughly. This scan came through very quickly and i was back in the MRI machine within days.

Has this happened to anyone else? What did it turn out to be? How soon should i expect to hear back if it turns out to be a tumour? Should i assume the later i hear back the less serious it is?
