2ww lymphoma referral, normal blood tests

Hey,

not sure if I’ve really posted in the right place really but I just wanted some peoples experiences really if that’s ok!

I’ve been to the drs a few times over the past few month - initially because I thought I had long covid. Thought I’d include my symptoms so it would help the context.

My symptoms are: bad breathlessness, a small lump in my neck and other swollen lymph nodes (in my neck and armpit area but mainly neck). Very tired a lot of the time, random petechiae showing up in different areas of my body, and stomach pain. I also noticed I seem to actually be drunk after half a pint of beer (4%) (I actually thought I’d been spiked the first time it happened) and I get a pain in my stomach area when I do drink alcohol (which is not very often). I’ve been sweating loads even when it seems inappropriate to sweat (no one else is sweating etc) and after weighing me my dr realised I have lost more than 10% of my body weight recently too.

I’ve had bloods taken which were all clear and my standard c x ray was also clear. When they listen to me I’m clear to listen to and when they examined me my liver seemed inflamed / very sore to touch but my liver function came back all within range (thank goodness!)

I was referred for the 2ww for haematology (lymphoma) as the symptoms flagged up for blood cancer. However my appointment is not until the 16th which is nearly 3 weeks after I’ve been referred so not within the 2ww. Makes me think they already don’t think it’s anything serious.

I’m just not sure what to expect at this appointment? Especially as my bloods are all OK? I thought if it was something serious it would show up in your bloods?

if anyone has had this appointment could you please tell me what to expect?/ if anyone’s had these symptoms

Thanks!
