Colonoscopy very soon: worried about ongoing pains

Hi all.  Colonoscopy on Tuesday following positive FIT test. I'd be less concerned but for about four weeks of abdo, buttocks, upper leg and hip pain.  It comes and goes but when I have it, it's pretty severe.

Had to go to ED last week, query spinal cord compression.  Happily, a MRI proved it wasn't and ruled out any obvious cause for the pain e.g. sciatica.  So, it's back to a possible colorectal link. Is is possible that these pains (and I've been given naproxen and other pain killers for them) could be unrelated?  What of course I'm anxious about is the possibility that the pains are due to metastatic cancer though apart form fatigue, I'm not getting other symptoms.

A GP recently prescribed Cosmocol for impacted faeces. Should I stop that fairly soon as I'll be starting the hospital prep on Monday evening?

Wishing everyone here well,
