Hi All,

I had a wide surgical excision over 8 weeks ago now and still haven’t heard back. I’ve left 2 messages for my consultants secretary who has not responded. My consultant was unsure which skin cancer I had so ordered an urgent excision which was performed 3 days later. The differential diagnosis is basal carcinoma, Bowens disease, or amelanotic melanoma. I need to know now! I feel that I can’t carry on with life at the moment with this hanging over me. I’m in the Birmingham area - is there delays for results?
