cervical smear results -scared

Hi everyone,

I went to my GP last Tuesday with pelvic and back pain/aching, change in my periods from very light to really heavy, tiredness (which i just put down to being a busy mum) and also a bit of pale pink/brown spotting a few hours after sex with my husband. Although my smear test was already booked for September the GP done one there and then and having bloods done tomorrow. I am totally beside myself with worry and wondering how long others are waiting for smear results atm.

  • Welcome to the forum Lebell84 although I'm sorry to hear you're currently waiting for your smear test results.

    As many of our members know, this can be a rather anxious and stressful time but we are here for you and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to share their experiences and support you whilst you wait.
