Hi, I recently had a recall following my first routine mammogram since being discharged after 5 years of treatment for bc (being surgery, annual mammograms and u/s and Tamoxifen).  Had biopsies done for an area of dcis and going back in 2 weeks for results.  4-8 weeks sounds quite a long wait for the results in my opinion.  When I was first diagnosed with bc 7 years ago my biopsy results were available after 2 weeks.  I would perhaps query that timeframe with your healthcare team.  Have they given you a folliow up appointment? I’m located in Surrey so maybe the dinings are different in my area.  Hope you don’t have to wait too long - wait for results is agonising x
