Hi Can anyone please provide any support as I'm a wreck . I've suffered constipation for many years always relieved with dulcolax once a week . Just been on hol and didn't have a bowel movement for 8 days ( normal for me ) then had bowel movement as normal ( large amount and brown ) at the end of it all I started to pass small bright red blood rectally about 10 times sorry to be graphic but it was like a fart of red blood which has now resolved . However FIT test elevated at 85 and calprotectin also at 130 . No other symptoms apart from bowels doing somersaults but I'm very worked up . Am waiting on a colonoscopy which I know is the only way to tell for sure but could these results indicate something else other than bowel cancer as I've got myself dead and buried and just can't function. Defo no piles etc as gp has checked . Looking for some reassurance really on what else these readings could mean, Have had two small bowel movements since which were both brown . FIT and calprotectin was sent off day after rectal bleed . Please can anyone help I'm heartbroken
