Hello, I was told I needed a CT thorax scan with contrast after bowel cancer investigations too but mainly because of the symptoms I was experiencing (night sweats and weight loss). I think it can be routine but is there any way you can ask why you need the scan? Mine was all clear but it was one of the first investigations my Consultant ordered after the colonoscopy.
