Breast papilloma

Hi does anyone have any experienced with breast papilloma? I've had a ultrasound and biopsy today of what they think is a papilloma, never heard of them before today. So I've googled it and most people have nipple discharge with it but I haven't? Its just a solid hard oblong shaped lump just above my nipple. It was also Connected to a cyst and had some calcification in it. They've left a clip or peg in thier to keep it marked or something. Wont get results until 21st so feeling nervous! Thanks

    I can understand your concerns and the uncertainty with this, and I know the waiting for answers is never easy. My reply here will boost your post, so hopefully you'll get some more replies soon, particularly from anyone with similar experience or guidance.

    Try to take things a day at a time while you wait and keep busy where possible.

    Thank you Ben, it seems like this papilloma thing is quite rare as no one seems to know much about them. I have learned that once removed and tested, 17-20% of them are cancerous which is a bit unnerving to be honest. I hope some can chip in soon and help put my mind at rest, waiting for results is horrendous! Thank you again

    Hi lara, I'm still worrying like mad. My lump seems to have doubled in size but I'm hoping that's just the swelling from the biopsy. Its scaring me knowing I've still got 2 weeks to wait!

    How is it in Spain? Hope the weather is beautiful for you, wish I was there! I'm in Cornwall now and it's started to rain, forecast rain all day tomorrow too so not much I can do apart from sit and think

    yes weather is good but a bit to hot for my this time of year however I’m not gunna moan we had rain for weeks in wales so needed to brighten things up x 

    I really hope it doesn’t rain to much in Cornwall and that you try and have the best break you can give. The circumstances x still hoping that you ate gunna get the all clear xx
