Hi all
Found a lump overt the weekend and managed to see my Doctor on Monday lunchtime (which is great). Have an urgent 2 week referral to the Breast Clinic for further tests (which scared me at first, however upon googling it looks like most people are referred as "urgent" anyway).
Unfortunately, it looks as though this is going to fall when I am on holiday.
I am sure it is different between different Clinics but what is the usual process? Will I get a letter or a telephone call? I am concerned if it is a call, I might not get it whilst we are away. But then if it is a letter, I will have to ask my Mum to keep her eyes out for it (she will be coming to feed the cats), but I don't really want to worry her. Also, is it easy enough to rearrange? I'm worried if I can't make the appointment I am given that I have to go to the back of the queue again.
My Husband wants to consider postponing the holiday but I don't - I am sure it will be nothing and we will lose our money I think.
