Is it possible to carry out analyzes to avoid the association between high CA125 and tumors in males?

Good morning and thanks for the support.

A year ago I had some blood tests due to hip pain that I had for some time, among the following tumor markers analyzed CEA, AFP, PSA, CA15-3, CA19-9, CA125 all except the latter were within the range of normal values.

A year ago the value of CA125 was 350 U / ml, today it has reached 400 U / ml.

Over the course of this year I have consulted various specialists including hematologist, andrologist and oncologist.

I recently had a PET scan with negative results, then I underwent a bone marrow biopsy and am awaiting the result.

Other circumstances that I would like to understand may have affected the increase in the value of the CA125 are the following:

Pain in the kidneys resulting in a stone being passed in the urine (no other stones found in the kidneys)

Presence of a mass of cyst-like fat in the testicles, the doctor advised against surgically removing it given the high probability that it will reform.

I'm glad to hear that you've consulted with various specialists and have undergone relevant tests, such as the PET scan and bone marrow biopsy. It's essential to let the medical professionals thoroughly evaluate your situation to understand the potential causes of the increased CA125 value.

While there can be various factors influencing CA125 levels, it's best to await the results and further guidance from your healthcare team. They will have a comprehensive view of your health and can provide you with the most accurate information and necessary next steps.

In the meantime, focus on taking care of yourself.

Wishing you the best, and please keep us updated on your progress.
