I had a colposcopy on the 3rd due to having 3 HPV positive smears in a row but no abnormal cells. During the colposcopy on the 3rd, the nurse informed me she could she changes and took 2 punch biopsies. She said she suspected it to be CIN 1 changes but obviously wouldn’t know the sure. This morning I have had a text informing me I have a Gynaecology appointment booked for the 28th. I have had no letter through and nothing at all to inform me of what they will be doing ect or the results of the biopsy. I’m terrified as the results came back so quick and they have booked me in for another appointment so soon. I think it’s very unfair to send this appointment out without any further info, all the phone lines are out of hours and now I’m just worried sick. I was wandering if anyone else had been a similar situation to me in regards to the recall?
