I’ve just been to the GP today & the GP confirmed that i definitely have a lump but that is more than likely a Fibroadenoma. I have been referred to the breast clinic for an ultrasound & I was just wondering that if it is confirmed to be a Fibroadenoma, am I able to ask for it to be removed ? When re searching it, a lot of websites say that they don’t always remove them but mine is quite painful/ sore, especially if I’m to knock it by accident.

Can they decline the request to remove it if they don’t think it’s necessary? Or is it up to me?
