Hi Everyone, awaiting a diagnosis has been the most stressful time of my life. I hope everyone is doing Ok! I found a lump on the right of my neck (level 3/4) 2 months ago. Every GP I’ve seen and the sonographer said they were ‘perplexed’ by the swollen lymph node. I’ve since had an ultrasound and the results have come back abnormal with a small mixed solid and cystic lesion and potentially metastatic. I have a biopsy and appointment with a consultant next Thursday (the days are dragging!)
Like most people, I’ve tried to do tons of research into it and just wondered if anyone else has had a lymph node like mine…it’s only 1.6cm, hard, oval and mobile when touched. The weird thing is it can disappear behind my neck muscle and won’t come back out unless I cough or move my neck in a particular way. Would really like to know if anyone has experienced anything similar. Thanks
