I had an endoscopy on Friday under the 2 week pathway.  A biopsy was taken from a polyp in my STOMACH. I was told this type of polyp was normal when taking Omeprazole.  The nurse said results will be with my GP in 4-6 weeks.

Yesterday I went on my NHS app and discovered an appointment, 2 weeks today at the hospital. When I phoned the booking office to say I couldn't make it as I was holiday, I was told that the was a note saying patient must not cancel. 

I have tried phoning the Gastroenterology department and I only get an answer machine. I have left a message but heard nothing.  I'm thinking this really doesn't look good does it?  Can this type of thing happen without it being cancer? No one has contacted me regarding  this, I was trying to book a gp appointment and clicked on the wrong part.
