Hi, we think we may have asbestos boards on the ceiling of our garage and recently discussed this with family who then went to have a look and broke a bit off! I am now panicking that asbestos fibres have been released and contaminated the contents of our garage. My partner also picked up the broken bit after as he did not think it was dangerous. I got him to shower and wash his clothes straight after and have closed off the garage. Thinking we should get a specialist in now to confirm if it is asbestos but worried my parter may have breathed in fibres as he was in the garage when it broke. How worried should we be? Any reassurance would be gratefully received! Have been frantically googling and as far as we can see we should be going into the garage with full PPE!
