I have been suffering from extreme bloating and heaviness the last 3 weeks. My gp took my bloods and my ca125 was raised (43) I got a pelvic ultrasound 5 days after my blood results came back and they said my uterus, ovaries and Fallopian tubes appeared as normal. They said my endometrium was nice and thin as they’d expect because I’m on the marena coil and don’t get periods. However I’m still extremely bloated after 2 weeks course of antibiotics for potential PID (which I find hard to believe as my swabs were negative and I’ve been with my partner for 9 years) and I’m experience a lot of brown vaginal discharge (old blood) and I’m struggling to eat as I normally would because of the bloating and feeling of fullness. I’ve also had indigestion and heartburn which is uncommon for myself. I guess I’m worried that I do have cancer but the ultrasound didn’t show it or it is elsewhere in my abdomen (stomach, bowel, peritoneum, oancreas) I’m an extremely anxious person and I’ve convinced myself I absolutely do have cancer. Has anyone been in a similar situation and able to advise on what their outcome was and what happened next?
