Possible colon cancer?

I’ve been fast tracked referred by my GP. I had a stool sample done Monday and my results came back and she said my levels came in at 278.3 ug HB/g. They found blood in my feces 

she said she suspects cancer, I’ve received confirmation letter form the doctors and also an attached letter explaining the fast track Referal, all it talks about it cancer, got websites at the bottom for cancer!!! Havnt received an appointment yet. For someone else who has been in my shoes what should I expect? If your levels were similar what was the outcome?

    Many have had an elevated fit test but most are fine I had the same as yourself I'm not sure what level it was but I was sent for a Colonoscopy on the 2ww it turned out to be nothing worrying and they will tell you straight away if they find anything ,,its much more likely to be another cause rather than cancer ,let us know how you get on .
