Tongue throat cancer

My husband was fast tracked last week after consultant saw a mass at back of tongue and throat with camera. He has had a panedoscopy today, after the procedure, another doctor came to see him, in his file he saw a picture ( MRI image) of what he said looked like a greenish moss like mass..any ideas

  • I'm sorry to hear about what your husband saw on his MRI Claire.

    Unfortunately no one on the forum will be able to tell you what this is but hopefully once your husband's panendoscopy results, and the results of any other tests he has had, have come back, his doctors will be able to look at everything together and finally be able to tell you what is going on.

    Waiting for news is always so difficult but I hope some of the tips and advice given in this article will help.

    Our thoughts are with you both during this very anxious time.

    Thank you Steph, it was a bit silly of me to ask such a question on here ..I'm just all over the place ATM.  I have read the article you sent me, and thank you, it has made me a bit calmer.
