Trying to get through this on my own as much as possible until I get results but it’s eating me up. How do you cope? How long from referral before you have had a confirmed diagnosis?
I'm sorry to hear that you're going through the diagnosis process at the moment. We know that for many people this can be a difficult time and it's understandable that you may be experiencing a whole host of different emotions.
People will deal with this process in different ways and for some people, they choose not to tell friends or family so as not to worry them or to protect them/their self from all that's going on. There are options available for support and I know that many members here have found it to be helpful to chat things through with one of our nurses.
