Just concerned over the fact I’m bleeding from the front when I pass a bowel movement. It definitely happens if i strain more but I’m just really worried. Has anyone else experienced the same issues? Tia x
Welcome to the forum Gab3lz although I'm sorry for the worry this is causing.
It's always a scary and unnerving time when any unusual or unexpected symptoms start to occur but I'm glad to see from one of your other posts that you have seen your GP about this and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the results of your swabs to come back.
I'm sure some of our members who have been in a similar position will get back to you soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you Gab3lz and will have our fingers crossed for good news.
Hi, I came across a thread about this which is why I've just joined this group cos in some ways it's a relief to read that other women have dealt with very similar. I've been on the pill for over 1 0years which caused my periods to stop, so I've had 10 years of bliss. Last October I was put on hrt and had the dose increased in March. In April I Wiped blood after having a pee and it continued a couple of days. At that point I was told I had a urine infection and that can sometimes cause a bit of bleeding.
After a couple of days I went back to my gp and said I was wiping blood after peeing and pooing. She did an internal and said my cervix looked OK, then she apologetically checked my back passage and found nothing.
She had me do a stool sample to rule out bowel cancer and I was also sent for a scan to check for kidney cancer and a scan to check for bladder cancer. All came back clear. I was also sent for a ct scan which also came back clear.
It's only now that I've realised it's vaginal bleeding that comes and goes roughly every 2 weeks and it's now usually brought on when I have to push a stool out.
I'm gonna ring my gp again tomorrow and I presume now we've ruled out everything else, I'll now be referred to gynecology. I had my last smear earlier this yr and it came back normal.
