Hi everyone, hope everyone is ok and this post finds you well. I’m new here so I’ll briefly explain my situation. I found a lump in my breast at the start of May, was told by my doctor to monitor for a month and there was no change. I was then referred to my local hospital for an ultrasound to see what the lump was. The lump couldn’t be detected by ultrasound but easily felt by the consultants and surgeons etc so they had to do a biopsy. That was 15 days ago. 

I was supposed to have my results by telephone yesterday but they cancelled this appointment and rescheduled for today but no-one called. The letter said to allow 45 minutes either side of the slot in case they run behind by which time the department phone lines had shut for the day so I couldn’t get hold of anyone. 

I’ve built myself up for this as I’m sure everyone can relate to just for another night of stress not knowing the outcome.

so sorry for rambling I just want to talk to people who understand.
