I’ve had a lump in the crease of my elbow for 13 months. I had an MRI and was told it didn’t look like a lipoma, but got no further explanation and was told it didn’t merit a biopsy. I then went to see my gp who referred me to ultrasound which was refused. My elbow is painful while using it and at rest but I have psoriatic arthritis so I don’t know if it’s that. I also have Parkinson’s and the worry isn’t helping my symptoms!
The lump is visible, doesn’t move round when I touch it and doesn’t feel squishy. The lump itself isn’t getting bigger but now feels like it’s getting longer - sort of a tail growing out one side?
We’re told to be worried about lumps and bumps and all I’m being told is it could be this or may be that but we’re not really sure. Should I push for a second opinion or leave it alone? I assume because I’m not losing weight, I’m being looked at as it couldn’t possibly be cancer. I tick other boxes for soft tissue sarcoma though.
