hey I’m so sorry you’re in this situation, few days ago I thought I felt something in my left breast and I booked an appointment yesterday to be seen. I had 2 doctors feel it and Long story short, they felt something doctor said it’s around 1cm and pretty immobile and deep within, pretty firm, it kind of feels like it’s shaped like a vertical straight line if it makes sense. I’ve been an emotional wreck yesterday, he said he would refer me yesterday and I got the referral letter today. It’s so hard to just focus on the positive when almost all these websites tell you that a hard, firm, immobile that’s deep inside is sinister and worrying. I’m 23, so hearing this absolutely crushed me. 

I think them calling you could mean it’s good, at least from what I heard if they want to speak with you it’s usually a face to face conversation if they’re concerned rather than breaking it to you ver the phone. I really hope you hear the positive news you need to hear! Wishing you the best of luck! ️

It sounds like ours feel really similar but mine sounds a bit bigger, the way I can describe mine feels like is an oid (magnetic Toy I used to play with as a kid if you search it) so long and hard but a bit bumpy like sinewy if you push really hard? 

mine is really deep in the tissue too, I really have to lay on my side and feel around for it, I hope for good news when they call and maybe that can ease your mind a bit too? I’ve been so anxious for over a month

Yeah it’s been tough not going to lie, the past year I’ve had pretty terrible health anxiety and worried about all different things. I was hoping I’d go to the appointment and be told it isn’t nothing to be worried about or that it’s maybe a breast tissue or muscle. I started crying at the GP, doctor did try to tell me it isn’t always that bad and that it could be benign as it is for most Women in our age groups. I heard also anything that comes up in the breast isn’t always sinister and hey maybe it’s a good thing we noticed it and are getting it checked out. 

I searched up oid and I know what you’re talking about, mine is shaped similar to that. I tried to look for anybody else who could relate with it but a lot of people describe there’s as either round or pea sized shape so I was panicking. 

That on top of how I have a darker tint red lining right under my left underboob, whilst under the right underboob it’s much more lighter.

Yeah I completely agree, when she said mine was abnormal I started to panic and as much as I read that it’s super rare in our age group I kept telling myself but I’m gonna have worst case scenario 

also regarding your breast looking discoloured, I had some other symptoms, I had lots of lumps under my armpits that were so tender so I assumed they were lymph nodes, went to drs (as this was after biopsy) and they said it was just skin cysts, often because we are paying so much attention to body changes we are associating everything with this new breast issue that normally we would probably brush off as a heat rash or chafing, can you perhaps not wear a bra for a while? I’m sure it’s nothing of concern :) 

as I said I’m always here to talk and I’ve been worried sick for weeks, my lump was very long and hard and it turned out to be this fibroadenoma so I’m hoping it’s the same for you and I’m sure it will be <3 I’m sorry it’s for you worked up though 

I don’t wear bras that often to be honest, every now and then I might but a lot of the time I don’t feel comfortable. I don’t know if I maybe always had this, or I became fixtated on it because of how I’ve been stressing. On the right it’s not as prominent as on the left, it’s very faint compared to it. I do tend to sweat a lot from the under boob area so maybe that ? But I don’t know, doctor said it’s a rash but It doesn’t itch me or anything.

Did the lumps in your armpits come after you found the one in your breast or did you always have it and bring it up after Biopsy? 

Just hoping for good news, Rashes are very scary honestly especially around the breast area and I’ve been so nervous, 

The lumps came up like the day before my biopsy ironically so about a month after I found the lump in my breast 

also I get really red under my breasts, it tends to be a big red line following the crease under my breast, is that where yours is? Mine is often like shiney or scaley but is never itchy, occasionally a bit sore, but I sweat a lot too, I usually just exfoliate, ensure it’s moisturised (but allow it to dry, maybe before bed or something) and then after showers use talc instead of moisturiser to make sure it doesn’t chafe and stuff :) I’ve always had that though 

I completely appreciate your anxieties though and you’re so strong and doing so well 

So the day of your Biopsy did you let them know these lumps came up the day before? What did they say?

yes that’s where mine is, on the crease line of the left it’s red/purple I can’t really tell due to the fact that my skin is darker. Mine is shiny also, on the right I have a bit of redness on the crease line too but it’s not as dark as the one on the left. Mine are shiny on the left, I don’t really experience itchiness or anything though on either side. I do sweat from that area so it could maybe be that but I’ve just been crying so much yesterday and earlier in the morning too because I’m so worried about IBC. Also, I have stretch marks on the side of my left breast, you know when you press and you can feel the thick veins. I don’t know how to describe it but I’ve just been crying. It could have always been there but my nerves have been high lately and I just can’t stop thinking about scary outcomes. I really do not want any of it to happen. I’m so tired of worrying.
