Hi,

I was recalled for further tests after my first mammogram. I attended the breast clinic on the 17th May. I was told there was a small area of concern in my left breast that they think is a fibroadenoma but wanted to do a biopsy to be sure. I had an ultrasound but she said it was difficult to see so I had a core biopsy guided by mammogram. I was given an appointment go return on 31st May for the results. The day before the appointment I had a call to say my results had come back as normal.breast tissue and that wanted to repeat the biopsy as they think they must have missed the spot as the result doesn't correlate with my scan. I'm due to go for the biopsy on 6th June and then I'm guessing another 2wk wait for the results again.

Has anyone else had this experience and should I be worried??
