Breast Lump

Hi 

I am due to be seen at the breast clinic next week. 
2 weeks ago i went to my doctor as i had tenderness in one breast and I found a small lump. 
The lump has now got bigger and another has appeared along with a red mark where the lumps are. The lumps are large and feel oval shaped, really painful. I'm unable to wear a bra. I'm hoping these are cysts but the red mark has freaked me out. Has anyone had breast cysts along with skin redness? It looks like a red bruise. Thank you in advance xx

    Hi, I didn't have the skin redness, just a lump, but I wanted to connect to let you know that you are not alone. TBH this sounds more like an infection, but of course you will need a thorough check with scans, etc to rule out anything suspicious. In the meantime, try to stay busy and distracted, keep clear of Dr Google, and try to go for a walk every day - all these will help as you wait for your appointment.
