Hi, I first noticed a pea sized hard lump on my neck to the left hand side at the top in 2021 whilst applying my moisturiser one evening. Went to the GP who done blood tests (all clear) and referred me for an US. The following week at my US, the sonographer said it was a salivary gland and nothing more. No formal results from GP other than repeating what the sonographer reported about it being a salivary gland so I dismissed it and forgot about it.  

Now, for the past 3-4 month, I have noticed a lot of changes in my health such as fatigue (sleeping through the day which is very out of character for me), I have zero energy to do anything even getting to work is a struggle at times but just thought with having 3 children of course I'll be tired but it's so apparent lately everyone around me has noticed. I also have nausea everyday, headaches, temperature is up and down with no signs of infection, I keep getting hot flushes and waking up hot (not drenched in sweat) and itchy skin all over. 

Went to GP last week, ran bloods - all clear except my folate was in my boots as it had been previously in January this year too. Had 3 month course of folic acid and it's actually lower now than it was in jan despite the meds! He's referring me for an US although he didn't mention whether it was deemed urgent or not. At my exam last week, he said he would check my thyroid for hypo or hyper etc which has came back clear. However, when he felt my neck (I said I had a lump but didn't specify where it was) he said "oh there it is, oh is is that one? Or there?" He found around 2-3 others before I actually pointed him to the one I had spotted. He said I do have a few swollen lymph nodes on that side which could be infection etc although I havnt been ill for sometime. He seemed pretty concerned about my thyroid although he didn't say if there were any lumps/nodules on there.

Just wondering what other peoples experiences are if they've had something similar and how their thyroid cancer or even lymphoma started. He did mention both at my appointment but said the likely hood is low as I'm only 32.

Any info/advice/experiences would be greatly appreciated
