Hello,
I'm 19 years old, and I will try to provide as much detail as possible about my situation. I know that this forum cannot replace the advice of a doctor, but I wanted to know before consulting if there is any reason to worry about testicular cancer.
I noticed, after an unprotected sexual encounter (2 days later), that the girl whom I have never seen again had vaginal bleeding during our sexual activity. Since January 7th, I have noticed that my right testicle is smaller than the left one and much softer (really soft) "when the skin of my scrotum is relaxed." There is also a small mass (about 5 millimeters) located at the top, attached to the testicle (but probably not inside it, as I don't feel anything abnormal when I palpate the testicle). It is right next to the head of my epididymis, and I'm not sure if it's directly connected to the epididymis because it's very close to the head, just a few millimeters away. The mass hasn't grown at all since I discovered it (more than 4 months ago), and I'm used to frequently examining my testicles, so I'm almost certain of the date of its appearance. I tried the transillumination technique, and even though it is very small, I can see it clearly compared to my dark epididymis. I also see other masses that are similarly clear but moving and rotating around the same mass. I don't experience any pain, and I don't have any other symptoms. I also have the sensation that the head of my epididymis is larger on the side of the mass and appears detached from the testicle, unlike the normal testicle. Thank you
