Positive and Negative Tests

A few weeks ago I had 4 days of continual bleeding (bright red) so I went to my GP. I have had eratic motions for about a year of constipation and then needing to go every 30-45 mins where the stools were looser. Had blood tests, which were fine, plus a QFIT test, which was positive.  I am booked in for a colonoscopy on 7th June. 

I have, in the meantime, carried out a stool test with a home kit. This was negative.  So, does this mean it is more than likely that i have haemorrhoids and nothing more worrying?  I don't know what to think really!

  • Welcome to the forum Maz although I'm sorry to hear your QFIT test was positive and for the worry this is causing.
