gynie issues

feels one thing after another

2016 i had mirvia coil fitted as it was only option offered to me as 12 days heavy bleeding warfarin patiant etc great stopped bleed , was told needed to be changed 5 years 2021

so rang to see if i could have coil renewed so to speak got told no new guidelines is 6 to 7 yrs to have it changed

march 22 found a lump test biopsies ended up stage 3 breast cancer ,er positive her 2 positive  now they couldnt get coil out quick enough

then i started bleeding 8 days stopped for 5 then bled for 10 days then syoped for 5 then started again april 2022 drs put in urgent request for gynie

started chemo periods stopped had single macestomy radio tamoxfien 10 yrs ( now taken 3 months )

well march 23 i see gynie my urgent appoint nearly a yr later i wasnt going to go to appointment but i thought i waited a yr i might as well go

so she said i would need either scan or biopsie to see whats going on etc urgent refural again i plumbed for scan as i didnt fancy biopsie pain etc

april scan don i had results 20th may i have thickening on 6.7 mm so now i need biopsie as i had a scan in jan 2021 and lining was 4.7 and as im taken tamoxifen etc

so now i wait i also have dormant tumor on my pitory gland that was found by chance and thats a marcodonmia as it measures so much cant remember size

thanks for reading but just wanna cry or scream and trying to stay positive

is the fact its gone from 4.7mm to 6.7 a big concern or small concern if that makes sence in a space of 2 yrs

or more worring as im on tamoixfen

  • I'm sorry to hear of these latest developments lady_penelope.

Unfortunately I can't answer the questions you've included towards the end of your post but our cancer nurses may be able to help so if you'd like to get their thoughts on this, and talk through anything else that may be playing on your mind at the moment, do give them a call from Tuesday onwards on 0808 800 4040.

I know this must be a very stressful time, but I hope you can take some comfort from knowing that many of our members have been in a similar position so you are not on your own, and I'm sure it won't be long until some of them stop by to share their experiences and advice.

We're thinking of you Lady_Penelope and hope an appointment for your biopsy comes through soon.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
