Still waiting to have biopsy

It's been weeks now and I've been urgent reffered to chest Dr aswell and we've been waiting on them to get InTouch and do my biopsys of my lymphs in chest . I've had a lung function test and been referred for echocardiogram too. Not sure what these have to do with suspected lymphoma . My lymphs are swollen in my Hillar and mediastinal regions of chest .my heamatologist said he hopes to be able to diagnose me soon.but it seems hospital taking a while for the biopsy to be done .

    I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with a number of health concerns at the moment. We know that for many people this period of waiting for tests and appointments can be difficult and it's understandable that you may be feeling anxious about things. 

    If you've any concerns about the length of time that you've been waiting for the appointments you're expecting then do get in touch with the hospital PALS team. It's their role to provide a point of contact for patients and help resolve concerns or problems when you're using the NHS. 

    I do hope that you have some news soon.

    Hi jenn , I've had a appointment come for biopsy and several other appointments come through with respiratory team . I'll have my biopsy in a couple of days . I'll be glad when I know what's wrong and have a plan of action .

    Hi I've had my EBUS test and biopsys .it was horrible but they said they got some good samples to test .it's now a very anxious wait till I get results .I can't seem to get any sleep with worry .
