Lumps in breast - ultrasound clear 3 months ago

Hi

i don't usually write in these things however I just wanted to see if anyone was in the same boat.

I have breast implants (11 years old) 35, 3 children . I have had ultrasounds on my breasts every year for the past 3 years. The latest one being end of feb this year.

The ultrasounds showed 2 Fibrodenoma in both right & left breast & I asked for biopsy to confirm , which it did in feb 2023.

it's now end of may & I can feel 3 lumps in my left breast behind the nipple . 2 are firm with no pain & one feels alof harder & like a small smooth rock & that hurts to touch.
mi skipped the gp wait & am seeing a private consultant on Friday.

m just wanted to see if anyone had had any hard lumps , painful & not, and what they turned out to be.

trying not to worry but you can't help it when you keep feeling them & thinking 'it must be cancer. Why else would I have hard hard non moveable lumps'

  • Hi Allyson and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear about the lumps that were found, and that you think you may have found more.

I know this must be worrying but hopefully the private consultant you'll be seeing tomorrow will be able to provide you with some answers and much needed peace of mind.

Hopefully some of our members who have contended with something similar will share their stories and advice with you soon but if you have any questions playing on your mind about this after you've spoken with the consultant, you're welcome to give our cancer nurses a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday (except bank holidays) between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all that they can to help.

We're thinking of you Allyson and wishing you all the best for tomorrow.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
