33 weeks pregnant and 3cm hard immobile lump on breast

Hi all,

I'm looking for a bit of reassurance for those who have maybe been through something similar. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and just less than 2 weeks ago my left breast felt quite sore and was red and hot to touch and I had a feel and found a large lump. I phoned doctors immediately who then gave me an appointment and examined me and said they suspect it to either be a blocked milk duct or mastitis so gave me antibiotics. Whilst the pain and redness has improved, I'm not sure if the lump has or not and I'd say it's around 3cm long. I went back to docs after a week and they changed my antibiotics but my lump is still there after a week on my 2nd lot of antibiotics so I phoned back today and they've referred to me to the breast clinic and should get an appointment in 2 weeks time.

I'm just sick with worry as my lump is hard and immobile and only sometimes a bit tender. I know it could be so many different things especially with being pregnant but just can't help but think the worst.

Xx
