Pelvic mass found during colonoscopy

I'm a 23 year old female, during a colonoscopy and endoscopy the doctor came across a section of my bowel being compressed by a pelvic mass, he asked if I have issues with my periods and weight loss, which I do, I have been sent for an urgent mri scan which I am now waiting for, I have a strong family history of cancer, including 3 people having ovarian at 40+. I also have inflammation in my stomach which they believe is gastritis, I have constant upper right sided pain, no appendix as this was removed years ago. I have a history of ruptured ovarian cyst.
My mind is in absolute bits and I'm crying constantly, has any one else had similar ?

  • Hi,

I have gastritis, with regular flares, causing boating, pain and frequent burping. My endoscopy showed an infection also of H- pylori. I have also been having extremely bad pelvic pain ( pressure and cramps) lower back pain, I am not sure if all this is related.

Going back to gp on Monday as I have now found a hard, solid, painless lump in groin.

I hope everything turns out to be ok for you. X
