Hi,

I'm 42 and yesterday I went for my routine smear. Whilst there I thought I should mention a gmfew symptoms I had been having for quite a while:- pain in my pelvic area and lower back, change in bowel habits, loss of appetite, pain during sex and hair thinning.

I have a history with smear tests ms and bad results but have been clear for the last 6 years.

The nurse was brilliant and went to speak to the GP who came in and gave me a bimanual? exam, she walked out and asked me to go see her before I left and asked for full bloods to be taken am with CA 125.

The nurse explained and sent me through to Dr, who advised me she could feel my ovary was enlarged and my stomach felt distended so is referring me for ultrasound ASAP.

Now I am worried, brain going 100mph and wondered if anyone else had something similar??
